Mopari MOPARI Retail made simple

What's new

Every version of Mopari, newest first, and what changed in it. Shops running 2.7.1.0 or later are offered each new version on screen and can install it with one button, so this page is here for reading rather than for fetching.

Sales by hour, quantity and bucket deals, kitchen dockets, customer history, accounting journal export, purchase orders. Five database migrations - a copy is taken before the first launch changes anything.

2.9.0.0

27 September 2026 · 100 MB

Tax on the cash up report (sale type summary, per VAT rate, with the gross) and discounts with a start and end date and hour. Carries a database migration.

2.8.2.0

26 September 2026 · 100 MB

Alerts are sent by the Mopari Sync service instead of the back office window, so they go out after a power cut or a reboot without anybody logging in. The Alerts screen now says when Sync last looked.

2.7.2.0

20 September 2026 · 100 MB

Your shop now tells you when it needs you. The office checks in with us every few minutes, and if it stops - the computer off, the sync service down, the line out - you get a message on Telegram, and another when it comes back. Mopari also tells you when there is a newer version: the back office says so across the top, and a till asks as it opens, never while it is being used. Install it, leave it, or skip that version on that machine. A till on your network takes the file from your own office, so a shop with three tills downloads it once. Tills now send their own logs to the office, and Machines in the back office shows every till, when it was last heard from, and what it has been saying. On a customer account, clicking a charge shows what was actually on that bill, and the owner can move an item onto the right person s invoice when a round went on the wrong tab.

2.6.0.0

15 September 2026 · 100 MB

Backups. A copy of the database is taken before any new version changes it, and once a day while the machine is used. Listed on the Setup screen with a button to take one now and to open the folder.

2.5.7.0

10 September 2026 · 100 MB

Narrows the duplicate fold added in 2.5.6.0 so it only ever merges the rows Mopari seeds itself - Cash, Account, Exchange credit and the pula notes and coins. A shop with two tenders of its own sharing a name is left alone.

2.5.6.0

10 September 2026 · 100 MB

Handover fix: signing in to a till whose drawer belongs to somebody else no longer leaves the cash-up unable to close it, and unable to open a new shift. Duplicate tenders and denominations on a freshly installed second till are folded into the shop's.

2.5.5.0

8 September 2026 · 100 MB

One trading day across every report, with the hour it starts now a shop setting instead of a bar assumption. Cash-up report no longer says no drawer was counted for a day whose shift is on the screen. Picking a shift sets the day the print button prints.

2.5.4.0

8 September 2026 · 100 MB

Fixes four back office screens that opened empty because the shell never asked them to load: price lists, invoices, stock counts and account payments. An Advance licence no longer displays as Trial. Includes the 2.5.3.0 fixes: printable daily cash up with its own printer, and a new till no longer waiting on a sync that never started.

2.5.3.0

8 September 2026 · 100 MB

Stock take fix: a count is now stored as the true figure rather than a difference against a till that had drifted. Cash refunds and account settlements now count towards the drawer. Pool coins come out of the till automatically. Invoice search and reprint, stock take reference numbers, account payment reversal, shop reset for testing. Printable daily cash up, with the office choosing its own printer. Second till first run no longer waits for a sync that never started.

2.1.0.0

3 September 2026 · 100 MB

Runs on Windows 7 SP1 and up, from one 32-bit installer that serves every machine a shop has. A till can put a bill on a customer account. Products and stock items can be taken off the catalogue. Alerts show a QR code for the bot, because a phone cannot be handed a link. A till connected to a back office takes that shop, catalogue, staff and PINs, and shows it without being restarted. A Windows 7 that has never been updated needs KB3020369 and KB3125574 first - the installer says so before it copies anything.

1.4.0.1

2 September 2026 · 141 MB

Says plainly that Windows 10 or 11 is needed, instead of a Windows error.

1.4.0.0

2 September 2026 · 141 MB

Change screen with print on demand, right-hand button rail, refunds and exchanges, account statements, opening balances.

1.3.1.0

1 September 2026 · 141 MB

First public release.

Keeping a shop up to date

From 2.7.1.0 a shop is told when there is a newer version. The back office says so across the top, and each till asks as it opens - never while it is being used. The answer is yours: install it, leave it for now, or skip that version on that machine.

A till on a shop's network fetches the file from its own office rather than from here, so a shop with three tills downloads it once. Nothing installs itself, and nothing is installed without somebody pressing the button on the machine it happens to.
